Of the average monthly expenditure of 15.000 Euros required to run the hospital, more than 80% is incurred from INTERPLAST-Germany Foundation and individual donations. Only the remaining 20% is covered nationally by the registration and user fees.
Donations
Since its opening, the hospital is mainly financed by individual donations which allow us to provide free treatment to our impoverished patients.
Sponsorship
The reconstruction of serious deformities, burns or accident injuries often require a long treatment with several operations which most of our patients cannot afford. The system of sponsorship allows you to help a needy patient get full treatment, from pre-operation to post-operation therapy, including food and lodging.
Donations in kind
Due to extreme high transport charges, the value of donations should correspond reasonably to these charges. This applies mainly to some medicines, special medical supplies or medical equipment which are not obtainable in Nepal.
Ant Transports
Another way to support us is to transport urgently needed items to Nepal within the bounds of your baggage allowance so that we can save the transport charges.
Collaboration
Since years the SKM Hospital has been actively supported by many volunteers. Their commitments contributed essentially to the hospital’s projects success and cost-saving. However some basic prerequisites are asked from our volunteers in order to effectively cooperate with our staff.
